The Club is turning out to be one of the most talked about releases of this year (so far). The reason is simple, it’s just different, and its gameplay will be loved by majority of gamers. That’s not just a speculation but it is a fact that it falls under two major genres of gaming, Third Person Shooter and racing. This is projected by Bizarre Creations which was acquired by Activision in last September. The Club is as simple as it gets, all you have to do is make points by killing people and being fast at that. It may sound plain but the game’s got more to it. Numerous combos and fast based gameplay makes this one special, it’s not about planning and killing silently, it’s about blazing down the lane and chain-killing as many enemies you can.
Game is made more interesting with 8 playable characters which let you play as a racer, hunter, gambler etc. It’s got nothing to do with reality, just blood pumping action all the way (did I mention the word insane?). If you’re comparing to ‘Gears of War’, ‘Halo’, ‘Call of Duty’, they are more realistic based, while this one is something urban, low-down, gritty.
Bizarre Creations are already known for their ‘Project Gotham Racing,’ which was a great success on Xbox. This new game is their attempt to bring elements from PGR series to an action game. It will be available from 19th February for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows-based personal computers.
