Here we have some bad news for lovers of personal shooter video games! Vice president of Epic Games, Mark Rein has officially conformed that the release of Playstation 3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 which was supposed to be released by November 2007 has been delayed till 2008.
Unreal Tournament 3 has also been renamed to 360 Unreal and is supposed to have more real life simulation of bloodshed by having better visual and sound effects. Rein said:
Being a public company, we felt an obligation to let our shareholders know of the delay,
As new name suggests 360 Unreal is more live preserving the old favorite characters and adding the new ones. Also new warfare modes have been added to the previous list of Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag.
Also you have more advanced and deadlier weapons. And if that was not enough using the new, Unreal Engine Toolset players can even create new levels, rules, mods and have complete freedom to kill in the virtual world!
