400,000 Wii units on Japan launch day

The debut season has been inaugurated by Sony with launching its long anticipated gaming console PS3 on Saturday in Japan and now Nintendo has unveiled few residuals regarding its Wii that is going to make its debut on Dec 2nd in Japan while on Sunday in US. However Nintendo refused to give-out any clue on US stock.

Quoting on upcoming Japan release on Dec. 2nd Nintendo said that the company will initially ship around 400,000 units of Wii for Japanese gamers. However Wii console comes bounded with Wii-mote in a TV like remote appearance and gamers are waiting to test out the controller's talent because the controller is found accused of not working so elegantly.

400,000 Wii units is really a huge number that is four times to that of Sony's PS3 in Japan. Japan PS3 debut has cleared its very first lap with selling out 88,400 unites within first two days and now we have to observe either Wii will be able to touch the huge figure 88,400 or jumps over it.
