Vivendi Universal Games has revealed that 50 Cent: Bulletproof, the game based on gangsta rapper 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew has sold 1 million units. This is despite getting below 50% averages on score aggregator GameTab.

VUG chief strategy and marketing officer Cindy Cook says;
Gamers and 50 fans alike have enthusiastically responded to the groundbreaking fusion of frenetic gameplay and the lyrical imagery of the exclusive 50 Cent music tracks in 50 Cent: Bulletproof. The strong sales of Bulletproof underscore the undeniable appeal of the artist, his music and the engaging interactive experience that this game delivers.
So much for violence, reviews, punditspeak etc. If an item has appeal it will sell, no matter whatever the reviews (or the taboos) are.
