With Activision’s “Guitar Hero” turning the music-playing genre into the hottest category for video games, Nintendo have decided to take a giant leap of faith with plans for a game called “Wii Music” that will let players simulate more than 60 different instruments. The video game is expected to feature previous Wii favs as well as new additions like “Wii Speak,” a group microphone that works with its Wii game console and can be used for online games.
With more technologically advanced console rivals like Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s Playstation Series barely holding on against the versatility that the Wii controllers offer, we fully expect Nintendo to rock harder with Wii Music.
