KOTOR developers are currently contemplating some new project, but completely dissimilar from its prior RPG simulation. BioWare has engaged itself in a WOW like project i.e. a new MMO that is scheduled for launch sometime in 2009.

Bioware’s Bill Dalton informed about company’s ongoing project. Dalton speaks about the application of StreamBase technology in the MMO. Although, talking to the press release, Dalton didn’t reveal any game detail, but he looked quite evocative while describing the use of complex event processing technology; StreamBase.
Dalton told that StreamBase will be used to track each and every action and movement of the player. “It will be embedded in the foundation of the game platform” and will “monitor and maintain the status of all players. Each player’s movements and actions need to be tracked,” added Dalton.
What’s the advantage of tracking each player? I know this is the question that is taking high tides in your mind! Here is the answer to your question:
By tracking each player, BioWare will be able to see if an intruder is trying to disrupt the game’s logic, or attempting to make malicious movements against other players.
You will see a touch of Blizzard’s WOW in Bioware’s new MMO, but that’s just starting. More we will be able to comment as developer discloses any new info.
