We all know that the Nintendo Wii beats the other two competing consoles when it comes to creativity and just plain fun. Thanks to the Wii mote, we could do a lot more than button mashing in the games, we could actually use our whole body to play including swinging our hands and dancing with our legs. Also, stuff like making a serve in tennis games would make it so much fun for all of us to play. All that said and done, there was, however a problem playing games standing up on your feet. As most of you probably have your Television set according to your sitting posture, you would have to look down and move farther away to your TV to actually start playing games. This is troublesome, however Thanko, a Japanese firm located in Tokyo has come up with its new product which is rightfully named ‘Electric Up and Down Big TV Stand’.

With the Stand, it is now possible to position your TV set as per your sitting/standing posture. you can get it down if you just wish to sit and enjoy your game on the couch or if you ever need to stand up for these games you could do so by positioning the Stand upward to match your height. The screen can be pushed upto 130cms vertically. Thanko has even built in a wired controller. Moreover, the stand is no shrinker and is able to hold TVs with screens between 40 and 60 inches of up to 50kg in weight.

This comes as a whiff of fresh air for Wii owners in Japan (others would probably start feeling jealous) as now they can enjoy their favorite Wii games to the full extent.
