Until now, all the game developers were emphasizing enhanced graphics that is largely hindering the sound quality concern. After spending a long time like stray, ultimately Activision adopted nomadic sound issue and thought something bring some sort of realism in sound effects of videogames.

Activision, in collaboration with Dolby Laboratories has acquired a license deed in order to work on sound quality of videogames.
Under the joint venture, Dolby will help optimize Activision's audio production facilities so that more Activision games can deliver Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
In the past time, there were very few games that featured Dolby; this is the first time a publisher has invited Dolby to its studios to work on all new games.
I thin you remembered well last year Call of Duty 2 for Xbox360 that strongly supported Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound and acquired a lot of applauds. But now Activision has officials mentioned that it will be fundamentally providing similar support to the upcoming Xbox360 and PS3 titles.
The new joint venture will fill the void that has been created by a bit poorer sound effects and will also bring some more realism and emotions to the games.
