Manhunt 2- the first game to be rejected by the BBFC since Carmageddon in 1997- by Rockstar Games has now all guns blazing, after getting affirmation from the Video Appeals Committee, to be sold in UK. Now, it holds up to be a perfectly serviceable and an expertly crafted adventure game. Getting banned several times, the Rockstar Games has finally emerged as a winner deflating the UK censors who disapprovingly advocated Manhunt 2 with charges of sustained and cumulative casual sadism. An abridged edition of the game having 15 episodic chapters with some excellent effects will be released with an 18 certificate. BBFC, who fought the release for 9 months, changing its stance, avowed that earlier rejection decisions were hard to make involving some serious deliberations and reconsiderations. Developers Rockstar Games expressed their gratitude to VAC for reaffirming its decision while acknowledging that Manhunt 2 is well within the limits recognized by other 18+ rated entertainment. Still, no word regarding the actual date of release of Manhunt 2. So, the adventure video-gamers have to wait a little for sure.
