If you prefer to do your business, digital or otherwise, on Amazon’s page then this one’s sure to please you. Amazon has launched its very own Xbox live Store, providing access to a selection of about 100 full XBLA games. In addition, players can also buy subscription times to Live Accounts, and buy themselves some Microsoft Points. They can even gift the same to loved ones, if need be. This arrangement to buy XBLA stuff may seem long-winded to many, but it has several advantages. For instance, gamers can simply buy the titles for dollars than spend time and money accumulating those MS points. Then there’s the ease of doing transactions on Amazon, some of which actually translate into more wealth through redemption points and stuff like that. Games too will benefit from Amazon’s services of reviews, ratings and so on. The working of Xbox Live Marketplace is quite simple. You spend money to purchase a game or MS points on the site, Amazon gives you a code for the game (or mails it to the recipient if you want to gift it), and you use the code to play the game. See, it’s that simple! Of course you may still choose to go the old way and do this stuff via your machine, which, let’s face it, is hooked to Xbox Live already. But change is good, at least in this case!
