A major internal organization rearrangement has been done in Sony's executives. Former SCEA boss Kaz Hirai has been deputed on the seat of SCEI while Ken Kutaragi is now group chairman of the organization.

Analysts are taking the reshuffle in a pessimistic way saying the move is a tendency of Sony to quit the hardware market. Moreover they are expecting no PS4 from Sony, says Nomura analyst Yuta Sakurai to Financial Times. The analyst says the appointment of Hirai could be an escapee move to shift form hardware to software.
The analysts say eh reshuffle is a significant move and Kutaragi will be responsible for managing SCE's dealings with third-party publishers.
The poor sales figures are giving a hence to the critics to quip against Sony as Sony's PS3 console was launched in Japan on 19th Nov. and on 17th Nov. with not a satisfactory show.
