Why Wii seems like a perfect platform for an Animal Crossing title? Because it can boast of its motion-sensing controller and WiiConnect24 services. Nintendo's Katsuya Eguchi, the man behind Wii sports in an interview with IGN confirmed that Wii Animal Crossing Game is in underway. However, it sounds like the project is currently at the planning stage. He further says that the controller could become any one's potential axe, his shovel and his fishing rod.
While talking about WiiConnect24, he said that
