AOL Acquires GameDaily

The business news that is making to the top charts everywhere is AOL's recent acquisition of a gaming review site called GameDaily. No wonders! For quite sometime AOL is running behind user-generated content sites. At first, AOL tried to acquire Digg, and after Kevin Ross refused, AOL went on to launch Digg's clone-aka-Netscape. IBTimes reports, 'The purchase is part of a strategy at Time Warner and its media rivals to capitalize on a surge in Web advertising dollars by purchasing fast-growing Internet entertainment properties.' Now, it has to be seen, how AOL makes the game review site even more valuable for gamers!!
