Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari bashed Sony's PS2 saying it was 'too complex for interface-phobic people'. In the same breath his praised Nintendo and said that the 3D controller that Nintendo is onto these days is a very good idea.

He said; 'The 3D controller that Nintendo is onto is a very good idea if you look at today's controller with triangles, Xs, squares and circles, it's scary. It's like a keyboard. People are interface phobic.'
He was speaking at DIEC 2005 and voiced his opinion of today's video gaming world and recalled his heyday when there wasn't a lot of storage space for games, so gameplay came first, graphics second.
Now that is something that he said about PS2's interface and people being phobic about it. PS2 sold over 100 million units and is by far the runaway winner in the game console industry by a long, long margin.
To put my thoughts in one line, it should read something like this - Bushnell has lost his marbles.
