Atari the Giant is No More

Atari, the giant of old, is losing more money than almost every company there today is. With sales down $26.9 million from the last year. Also, revenue from publishing was $13.5 million, down from $25.8 million the year prior. Sales from its full year were don't to $80.1 million instead of the $122.3 million the year before.

Could this mean that in another year or so the Giant of Old could be on its knees? Could this be the end of our beloved gaming company? I believe it does. With over half of its sales dropping, Atari might soon be looking to cash in and get out of the fast pace business climate that we deal with today. Atari is old and crusty and doesn't seem to be able to cut it anymore. With the company growing old, it looks to be slowing down and dying out.

I am hoping that the age old company doesn't sell out but it might soon look pretty greener on the other side. We shall see their next move and where it may take them.
