Sony’s intriguing action adventure title God Of War II made its debut across the US, somewhat two months ago in March and currently selling like a hot piece of cake around the world. The game is a PS2 exclusive that presents a man of moral turns into evil due to never ending torment and gets boiled into hatred and orders his mortal army of Sparta to assault all the cities across the land.

The man behind the great God Of War franchise is Cory Barlog, the game director. GOW II has not yet come to its heads and speculations about God Of War III have started surfacing. But the director suggests over his blog that even a preliminary work hasn’t started yet on the third installment. Check it out yourself, what Barlog writes on his persona blog:
If we do get started on a GOW for PS3 you can be sure I will be screaming about it from the mountain tops the first chance I am allowed. Until then…I am plugging away on my RPG opus ‘A Family Ties game’. It is going to be so freaking awesome…awesome to a level that will actually transcend awesome and become something entirely different… freakin LA LAWsome!
The rumor mill was on the very launch tie of the game that Sony is pondering upon the PS3 version i.e. GOW III but Barlog boycotts it all. However, the quote of game director sounds a bit outlandish, because he has rebuffed even an initial work in the way of development of the game.

Doesn’t matter that what the game director states since for how long his articulation will stand tall because someday franchise has to expand its hands to next-gen platform, maybe next year or so. No doubt, Barlog has smashed the speculation, but the console owners need not worry because franchise has no other better option than next-gen consoles, in coming two or three years.
