Well, it is Nintendo’s CEO Reggie Fils-Aime who spent a fair amount of time for accomplishing a gaming console like Wii that is literally a kid machine, but whom would know (not even Reggie) that such a high kid friendly aptitude will come forth as a hurdle, its way. Florida Attorney General, Bill McCollum sounds something alike, who says that the game console is highly anticipated console by all the kids and games like Manhunt II (from the developer Rockstar) are inadequate for the kids because the game contains high gore and bloodshed that can stir the psyche of a child, and availability of such violent game over Wii is just nothing other than training children warfare, because of its motion-sensing device and results in the educating kids murderous strokes.
Bill McCollum says that the game has high violent content and should not be launched on Wii. The game has been already announced for Wii with other platforms including Sony’s PS2 and PSP, debuting on July 10th, 2007 in North US. But the Attorney General strictly boycotts the launch.
The Attorney General, Florida says that the retailers will be selling the highly sadistic game as it sees its launch next month, and we don’t want the game the game to be released on the platforms that is kid-friendly.

At the moment, I would call PS2 and PSP quite lucky that both Sony’s consoles didn’t catch McCollum’s eye, as he has no problem with PS2/PSP version of the game. The game has been declared as the public nuisance, simultaneously has got some ill fame or you can say a hype, and publisher’s job is half done (Rockstar must be thanking McCollum a lot).
