The ultra popular Bioshock, which shook the virtual gaming world when it was released in August this year, is coming to the PS3. It is slated for a spring 2008 release.
Bioshock is a first person shooter video game developed by 2K Boston/2K Australia, previously known as Irrational Games. It is designed by Ken Levine and is currently available for PC and the Xbox 360 games console. The game received overwhelming response for its ‘mortality-based’ storyline, immersive environment and Ayn Rand inspired dystopian setting.
The PS3 or PlayStation 3 is the home video console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. In sales and market share, it is currently placed at the third spot, after Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii.
It can be assumed that there was a six-month’s deal between Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Bioshock developers. After letting every willing player play the game for six months, what will be left for PS3 will be seen in spring 2008.
