The infamous SecuROM copy protection has been removed from BioShock. Now all you fans who have used up your 3 tries or are afraid to uninstall it can do that now. 2K Games have announced that they have removed the protection. Although this is a good move, will we see the same treatment from EA as Mass Effect inches closer and closer everyday? I believe once they notice the problems that 2K had with this software, they might take notice to their blunder and forget about keeping the protection on the game. It obviously costs more trouble to the people who honestly purchase the game.

My final verdict on this matter is drop protection and just let gamers play. All this protection is doing is just causing more harm than good and you are just losing legitimate gamers through all your software you shove onto these games. How about you just work towards making the games worth buying rather than trying to stop people from buying them like you are doing now?
