BioWare debunks Mass Effect launch delay rumor

Creating a great fuss all around, Josh Morey over at Mygen has posted an article claiming a month delay for Mass Effect launch across the world. Morey states that following one month delay in its launch, presumably retailers have started emailing their customers who have preordered Bioware's Mass Effect. Now, the game is likely to come out on December 7, 2007 on the Xbox360.

Thanks to Chris Priestly, Community Coordinator at BioWare, who over at Mass Effect official-site debunking all speculations has asserted that maintaining its previous schedule, Mass Effect has not been delayed.

Here is what Chris Priestly opined:

Nope not delayed. We will still be releasing in November and will have more details as to exactly when, when they are ready to be discussed.

The game launch has already been delayed once. Including Dragon Age, Mass Effect is BioWare's newest action-RPG that is currently in development and will see its launch exclusively on the Xbox360 sometime this November.

With in-game control finesses, Unreal Engine 3 underpinned Mass Effect will support just single-player mode. Additionally, the game is likely to appear as an episodic content to be uploaded on Xbox Live.

Neither a multiplayer mode, nor a PC version has yet been confirmed for Mass Effect; hope Microsoft would come with wowing 'duo announcements' sooner than later.
