BloodRayne: Movie and game coming bundled together

It is normal for the German filmmaker Uwe Boll to translate videogames into films. So if you thought that his BllodRayne that bombed at box office is going to be made into a game, you can be forgiven for predicting what was obvious.

Anyway, this time though things have changed a bit. Actually Boll wants to turn the bombed movie into a history making event and so came up with a novel idea. The story is that the DVD BloodRayne is set to mark the first time a movie and the game it's based on will come packaged together in the same case!

The May 23 release will contain both Visual Entertainment's BloodRayne and Majesco Entertainment's game BloodRayne 2 on separate discs.

The extra-bit is that both the R-rated theatrical version and the unrated director's cut of the film will come with the full game.

Ok, so what is the price? The DVD with the game included will sell for $20, while the stand-alone PC game retails for $30. Not the other way round? No!

A game and a movie for 10 dollars less than the stand-alone game? How strange! But if Reuters is to be believed, this is the case.
