Nintendo Wii overtook the 1 million mark week ago with selling more than 400,000 units in Japan and 600,000 units in US in just eight days. Legend of Zelda also scored well with selling somewhat 145,068 copies in Japanese market.

Princes Zelda outdid a good enough sale in Canada as well with selling almost equivalent no. of copies with Wii console. But since the dynamic gaming title of Artoon; Blue Dragon, based on the story line of FF series is out on Dec 7th in Japan; it is turning out to be the major hindrance in the way of Zelda. According to Media Create report Mistwalker's Blue Dragon procured fourth place during Dec. 4th to 10th. Moreover it sold more than 80,000 copies and become second in the list Xbox360 good trading titles behind Dead or Alive 4. All the copies sold out in minutes after it launched in Japan.

The figures may be satisfactory on the part of Blue Dragon bur to defeat Zelda would be a bit Herculean task to do, since it has been launched around month ago in the region and ha filed a significant lead and Blue Dragon will take a certain amount of time to cover that distance. Another firm reason for the sale of Zelda above the normal is Wii-mote back-up that is really pushing up the sales numbers of Princess Zelda considerably.
