Board games from Hasbro on XBLA for 40 dollars

Care for a friendly game of Scrabble, or perhaps a round of Battleship? Now you can play these classic family games on Xbox 360 with Hasbro Family Game Night. EA Play has launched a collection of games under this head and is hoping people will shell some serious Microsoft Points to relive good old days. Fans can go on the XBLA and order their choice of digitally created Scrabble, Connect 4, Battleship, and Yahtzee. These digital recreations bring with them a host of classic and new modes of gameplay, something that regular board games may not guarantee. Another thing that these digital versions guarantee is keeping those pesky cheaters at bay! This motley bunch is not so much a game in itself as an application, since the entire collection weighs in at just about 250 MB. Each of these games can be picked up for $10 (800 MS Points) taking the bunch’s price to $40. The Hasbro Family Game Night on Xbox Live Arcade calls upon players to join Mr. Potato Head, who’d be acting as a host as players enjoy any one of the above-mentioned games. And joining the list somewhere down the line would be BOGGLE, SORRY! and SORRY! Sliders.
