Business 2.0 rates GTA: San Andreas one of the dumbest moments of 2005

The Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 'Hot Coffee Mod' that allowed explicit sexual content accessible within the game thus making it look like a political sex scandal made business plunge with revenues falling short by $40 million from projections.

Not surprisingly, in Business 2.0's '101 Dumbest Moments in Business of 2005' GTA: San Andreas achieved a remarkable 15th position in the big time losers' list.

The Business 2.0 article says;

Already marked 'Mature' for 'blood and gore, intense violence, strong language, stong sexual content, and use of drugs,' the game gets rerated 'Adults Only,' causing Target and Wal-mart to pull it from stores. Take-Two's quarterly revenues fall $40 million short of projections.

Business 2.0 actually revealed that what a dumb idea it was to have hidden locked sexual content in the already gory game. In any case, if they thought that with a scam like this with a sexual theme it can boost sales, they just seemed to have flogged themselves. It bombed pathetically, we all can see that, right folks?
