Soccer mania will be hitting mobile phones soon! Cameroonian soccer star and FC Barcelona star forward Samuel Eto’o recently signed a contract with mobile phone video game developer and publisher Gameloft and will be featuring on the cover of their soon-to-be released mobile video game Underground Street Soccer. Incidentally, Real Soccer another soccer game developed by Gameloft was a huge hit with soccer fans.
True to the nature of the game, Underground Street Soccer also promises to be very absorbing with fast movements and will be 4 vs. 4. The game is very user-friendly and the faster you are with your thumb the greater will be the action.
Recently rated as the world’s third best footballer by FIFA, Eto’o is also a UNICEF ambassador. All the proceeds that Eto’o gains from the contract will go toward a foundation under his name of which he is the President.
