Despite 90% rise in profits, Capcom has closed down Studio 8. The studio, most recently has produced Final Fight Streetwise. Capcom Eurosoft, a subsidiary for distributing games in Europe has also been dissolved. Because of the shutting, 20 people have made redundant. I am wondering why the publisher has closed down when it was not doing too badly. They have reported an increase in the annual profits, which was more than 90 percent to just over £17 million.



Among other confirmations, there was some restructuring, along with mobile division breaking from the compound ‘Other Businesses’ sector.
