Capcom is trying to track the footsteps of Activision, as few days back it succeeded in acquiring a licensing agreement between Activision and Epic Games (Developer of Unreal Engine 3.0) for its new upcoming next-gen titles.
Capcom has expressed its desire to employ Epic’s Unreal Engine 3.0 to its imminent next-gen game titles that it will develop in its near future. The developer has acquired the title deed for underdevelopment project in North US.
Apart from Activision there are many veteran game developers like Square Enix, Sony and EA that make the use of Epic’s impulsive Unreal Engine 3.
Why game developers are moving towards Unreal Engine 3.0?
The fundamental reason behind showing a drift towards UE 3.0 is its high potential and versatile nature for next-gen games.
Unlike Graphics Engine, UE 3.0 will help developers create a game that provides a matchless experience, what gamers always look for, and (obviously) rich graphics.
