
Consumer Electronics Association’s latest study has revealed that between the age group of 25 and 34, a good 65% of women play video games while only 35% of men of the same age group fall in the category.
The study further reveals that while women casually play online games found on portals like Yahoo, Pogo and MSN, men prefer to play games that are sold at places like GameStop.
The main drawback of the study is, the researcher did not ask the women why they prefer casual games over hardcore ones like Xbox or PlayStation. But, nonetheless, its quite an eye opener for lot of people. The content managers of the portals, for instance. They can now devise new games exclusively for women. What say?
