After making a successful launch over at the Xbox360 and PC, Codemasters' off-road racing title DiRT is heading to the PS3. The game will be released on the PS3 in September.

While playing in the new game, players will enjoy an impetuous responsive feature fine-tuned to the PS3 controller's force feedback functionality, and remixed audio offering 7.1 and 5.1 surround sound. The Xbox360 version of DiRT took rally genre into the new next-gen era and now with transporting the game to Sony's futuristic console, Codemasters is with hopes high. After a considerable wait, PS3 owners will be reaping fruits, as they will be getting a glitch-free version when it comes out next month.
In an array of 46 different cars in 186 colors, player's achievements will depend on the difficulty level he/she picks. Higher difficulty levels contain more challenging AI opponents and more realistic damage effects that deform completely soft body of a vehicle making gameplay more dynamic.

Despite having some technical shortcomings, the game played well on both Xbox360 and PC, now with getting all the bugs fixed, added new cars and a multiplayer mode allowing up to 99 players to compete at a time in solo competition, the game is inclined to break new grounds as it debuts in September on Sony's futuristic console.
