The known game publisher Crave Entertainment has officially announced today that Oxygen Games' Dave Mirra BMX Challenge (originally a PSP game) is on its way to Nintendo's next-gen console; Wii.

Alleged Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series' redefined version, Dave Mirra BMX Challenge failed to afford some good reviews at various game sites but this time with 13 different, 12 unique environments each one consisting of two race paths and trick-oriented modes in the game sounds pretty good. Besides, the players have been honored with customization feature as well that allows players customize their own characters.
Jim Flaharty (Crave Entertainment VP):
Dave Mirra BMX Challenge will be the first BMX game for Wii. The immersive Wii controls combined with the thrill of BMX racing will make Dave Mirra BMX Challenge a real treat for action sports fans.
The game will hit the stores this June for a suggestive price of US$29.99.
All the sports thematic games are doing well on different platforms irrespective of their platforms, and as you know that it is the first ever BMX game coming to Wii. So the expectations are high as Wii's motion sensing remote and Nunchuk keep a potential to give a U-turn to BMX game franchisee.
