Last few months have shown many gorgeous titles, but a flood of new games is about to merge the market this holiday season as a couple of giants like Halo 3, Gears of War (PC), Unreal Tournament III, are making their way to consoles including PC. Crysis is an addition to the fleet. The title was looking for its launch to be announced - finally, Crytek has brought the cat out of bag by announcing the launch of the first ever game using CryENGINE2 for this November 16th across the US (Nov 15th in Europe).
The game is likely to receive a tough competition from Bungie’s Unreal Tournament 3 that is also slated for this November release on PC platform.
The detail about epic PC game surfaced during EA’s financial conference call, where the company’s CFO Warren Jenson veiled off the secret. “We are now planning to launch Crysis in early November’, he informed.
If it is launched on schedule, European players would feel obliged, as they will be getting the game before Americans for this time.
Although, I am still vague about the game’s launch, because the word ‘planning’ sounds tentative, hence should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Crysis will break new ground in multiplayer mode with a unique team-based strategic manner for up to 32 players, where you strive for control of advanced weaponry to overcome enemies. Jam-packed with impressive action-packed death-matches, the game will also feature a ‘Nano Muscle Suit’ in Instant Action mode to use it as the ultimate tool to rout your opponents.
