As per a previous announcement by Ubisoft Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and The Strip was supposed to hit both next generation and current generation consoles, but a recent report shows that the Company has released the games only on the Xbox 360 and PS 3 platforms, for the E3 line-up. As per an Ubisoft representative:
All development has been shifted to next-gen platforms.

Ubisoft was silent about leaving out the current generation platforms, but there are facts, which point towards the lower sales of Xbox and PlayStation 2 in comparison to the superb performance of the 360 console, with expectations already high for the Playstation 3.
