Video games in schools! A bit amazing? Yes! I am exactly doing what West Virginia schools are doing. The schools are trying to fight the growing obesity rate in the school. Reuters reported that the Virginia schools are planning to bring Konami's music game Dance Dance Revolution to the schools to help treat the pathetic conditions governed by the obesity.

As per reports based on 24-week study of 50 overweight or obese children shows that children playing Dance Dance Revolution for at least 30 minutes five days a week found their weight reduced and also some reduction in diseases relating to heart and diabetes.
All the public schools in the region are trying to put in Konami's music videogame as an alternative to the outdoor sports.
The game supports Windows, PS2, PS, Xbox and Arcade platform. The next version to the aforementioned title i.e. Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party is also in the way to Nintendo's Wii platform that surely has possibility and potential than prior arcade title as Wii contains motion sensing remote controller to reward much more freedom to gamers while playing rhythmic game.
The video games are showing great applicability in the real life with innovative ways. The newly governed applicability of video game in the practical life will surely give a rise to such movement-related games.
