Dangerous Waters from Sonalysts Combat Simulations is from the same team that brought us Sub Command, the excellent modern naval submarine simulation. This time however, they take two steps forward and bring us above the waves and into the air. Playing missions in Dangerous Waters (DW) depends on the platform you are in command of at the time.
Missions range from search and destroy, Special Forces ops, tracking enemy subs or destroying in-land ground targets. You must use the vast array of your particular platform's sensors to detect and identify targets. Once you make your determination, you must then use the appropriate weapons to destroy the contact. There are many sensors to choose from depending on the platform you control.
Something which I found lacking or overlooked were the tutorials bit. Apart from that, it is one of the most detailed non-classified naval simulations available to the public.
