Metroid Prime 3 launch delayed

According to a recent Nintendo press release, the release date of highly anticipated action/adventure genre Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has been pushed back by exactly one week. Previously, the Wii exclusive game was slated for August 20 launch in US, but now the game would be making its debut on August 27.

The information was found buried at the bottom of the latest The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass press release, where Nintendo was quite sure that nobody would notice, but some fervent Metroid Prime players have highlighted the issue. It (press release) mentions that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, the third installment of the hit trilogy, launches with motion-sensitive controls exclusively on Wii on Aug. 27.

Why the game launch has been pushed a week back? Why Nintendo needs extra 7 days? These are few questions that the press release leaves unanswered. Hope, Nintendo will soon come back to answer all the questions.
