Irish network middleware manufacturer DemonWare has been merged into Activision. The world's known videogame developer and distributor has acquired DemonWare for a reported €15 million.

Activision has previously made use of multiplayer technology in its one of best seller Call Of Duty 3. Not only Activision, but other brand names in gaming industry including THQ, Sega, Namco, Treyarch, etc have well exploited its multiplayer technology in their games.
The company will not be developing its software for the games developers other than Activision.
