It is all about going Bang... Bang... When it concerns to selling merchandise and in the business world it is the sales and the cash that matter. At the end of the day the gaming domain is also pretty much about the same thing and the most commercially successful ones are the ones which get rehashed and redone in a million different ways. How many shirts of Super Mario have you not seen in varied versions? Hell, even the self proclaimed tough men like John Cena take help from the gaming world. (His ultra-popular new shirt)
The Wonder Festival of 2008 was held in Tokyo and we all know hoe crazy the Japanese market is about video games and gaming consoles. Thousands of fans were at the festival demonstrating their wooden work and guess what really made quite a sale. It was the semi-automatic pistol replicas from the game Devil May Cry used by Dante! There is no doubt that pistols and guns sell till date and just goes to show why despite all the latest fancy gadgets, gaming consoles use plain old stuff most often.

The Ebony and Ivory versions of the pistol really made plenty of money for the makers. Just goes to show that our idea of ‘macho’ is still very much engraved in the plain old weapons no matter how much we love ‘Star Wars’!
