This is fact that the Nintendo DS Lite is a successful portable gaming device, but this is true that Nintendo has never been able to do some of things that PSP can do. One of the main differences between the PSP and the Nintendo DS Lite is that the PSP is able to play full-length movies. But soon, the Nintendo DS Lite will be able to do the same.
Japan based company called; DSvision is taking a new venture, which would be backed by Nintendo. DSvision has found an easy way to turn your Nintendo DS Lite into a portable media device, which would be capable of playing full-length movies. DSvision will launch the new Nintendo DS technology in the Spring 2008.
If you want to play movies into your Nintendo DS, you have to purchase a kit which includes USB cord with a microSD card slot, a 512 MB memory card, and an adaptor that fits into the DS cartridge slot. You can purchase this hardware package for only about $37 from DSvision. Once you have the hardware package, you can download movies from your computer to DSvision website. Then you can transfer those movies to your DS with the hardware.
One of the most annoying parts is that you can not download movies by using the DS Lite’s Wi-Fi capabilities. Initially, around 300 movies titles will be available for download and later on company will launch 10,000 movies titles within two years. You will also be able to download TV shows and e-books as well.
