Funcom has announced that The Longest Journey will keep going and will cover some more miles before a sojourn. The new installment to the adventure series will be in the form of Dreamfall Chapters that all the gamers are waiting very impatiently.
One more good news for the series fanboys is that the game developer Funcom has received a grant from Norwegian Film Fund for unproblematic development of Dreamfall Chapters.

The Dreamfall Chapters are currently in preproduction stage and hasn’t yet received a final launch date.
The game developer will launch the game chapters initially as the online content and after that following release on the scheduled platforms i.e. Xbox and PC.
Funcom stated that the money will assist in bringing together a firm technology team for the project that will concentrate on examining digital delivery methods for the game’s episodic content and assist in re-production project of Dreamfall Chapters.
Such a supportive approach of Norwegian administration towards local game a developer is rousing and will certainly take the contemporary adventure series to new heights.

Always been a fan of The Longest Jounrey Series. It’s nice to see that the somewhat low sales of the latest version hasn’t detered them from being able to make more. They just need to take out the actiony parts. Episodic content seems to be the way to go. Speaking of episodic, I’ve been playing free games like KumaWar . They’re pretty cool. And use the Source also!
