EA announces a new mode for Wii ‘FIFA 08’

As Ronaldinho steps into the field, he plays the with great passion and energy, that’s all the FIFA 08 cover boy act in the game. EA is the developer who has rightly evaluated the potential of legendary footballer and has tried to portray it into their game and dished up it for spending some tremendous moments with him.

In recent details, EA has announced that the soccer superstar will appear as the host in the new game mode, found in the upcoming soccer title FIFA 08. As the new mode will be necessitating the unique control scheme, so will be available only in the Wii version of the title. By special mode, I mean motion-sensing controls, which is monopoly of the Wii.

The newly introduced mode, which has been named Footii Party with Ronaldinho, will come bundled with a set of multiplayer party games, including 'Table Football' and 'Shoot Off'. However, the developer hasn’t yet mentioned the nature of the minigames they will be, but this thing is for sure that each minigame will be exploiting the unique aspect of the Wii.

Ronadinho himself commented on his appearance in the game mode, and appreciated EA’s effort.

Here is what Ronadinho opines:

My character looks like he enjoys playing football and shares my passion for the game. This is important to me. Whether you are playing football on the pitch or my party games in FIFA 08 on the Wii, it should be a fun and enjoyable experience.

As, Ea has sweat hard to bring about the real football feel in the game, the gamers would enjoy playing/competing football superstar, a lot.

Besides the Wii version, FIFA 08 will also be available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, DS, PSP, and mobile phones sometime this fall.
