EA chief: Production cost of games is crazy

The gaming industry is growing like a giant monster every day and to survive in the product-full market is becoming tougher to the game developers.

Alain Tascan, EA's (Montreal) GM conversing on the publisher's business model says that the making cost of games is crazy.

He said that the present model will probably change in next fifteen years just due to the cost issue.

Presently EA is the major titles developer in the gaming market ad spending a significant amount to develop the new titles. The official said that the other developers are investing a huge amount to develop innovative titles as well and the smart speculation he says is that which enthralls the gamers to put his hands into pocket to buy their title and that is possible only when the developers assure to deliver real entertainment.

The small developers as well have immense chances to electrify the gamers by developing mobile phones, casual games like creations for a quite healthy entertainment that doesn't take enough time a swell as finesse to get you into the game.
