DICE and EA by unveiling their plans for a roll-back are hoping to solve some problems from the recent patch for Battlefield 2. According to the official version, ‘After a thorough investigation into the issues plaguing the server browser after the 1.3 Update, we believe that a last minute update in the way the Battlefield servers and Gamespy servers communicate may be the cause. We have decided to revert this change in an attempt eliminate these browser issues.’

So, you don’t have to reinstall or uninstall anything.

New Features:

• Co-op: Players can now enjoy single player levels on Internet and LAN play with both Bots and human players. We have added a few options to allow the server admin to modify how the bots behave in game. Co-op play is not permitted on ranked servers.

• Air Dropped Vehicles: Squad members can no send a request to commanders to drop vehicles at their location.
