The development of Boogie, the rhythm videogame was in rumor for long back but now I think, the game has become real as the game developer EA Montreal has finally brought its new music genre exclusively for Nintendo’s Wii console. The final launch date of the game is not confirmed yet but likely to ship to the next-gen platform sometimes this year.

Boogie as mentioned above is a rhythm game that will make players dance, sing and play roles in their self created music videos.

However, the press release is out from EA but doesn’t reveal much about the game (the PR is much concerned about EA Montreal’s prior projects instead of delivering info about new game). In the pres release the game publisher EA has mentioned that the players can choose and customize in-game characters to show off their dancing style and karaoke skills.

I think, useless to mention that the new symphony will be fine tuned with Wii-mote’s motion-sensing features that will really help gamers during composting the music and music videos.

The game must be feeling heat for its near rival Dance Dance Revolution; another music game from Konami, since this game is already available on Wii, as well.
