Eidos has recently announced that it is delaying its latest major PS3 titles until next year. The developer has given a very straight forward reason for delaying its ongoing projects:

Console's installed base will not be high enough this year.
The game developer has an incessant faith in the success of PS3 consoles as it says that the PS3 will be most successful system in near future.
Expressing her great reliance on PS3, Jane Cavanagh, CEO of Eidos states that their PS3 plans are still underway and confirms they would be developing technology and software for the PS3, as they believe it will be a successful system.
Currently, the company has a pretty nice going business track and if we have a look on last six month results, then it reveals a high rise in revenues from £50.1 million to £74.5 million, this year.
The company believes that its Xbox360 and Wii will be successful, whose demand will soar in next five years.
Now, the thing to watch is which PS3 titles are underway..?
