Software giant, Microsoft has announced that Double Dragon, a well known arcade game developed by Empire Interactive has been released for Xbox LIVE Arcade.

The game is made available for download via Xbox LIVE Arcade. The company has also released a few screenshots of this game.
According to a press release the game features two-player co-op multiplayer mode on which users can play either locally or over Xbox LIVE. However, to play the game via Xbox LIVE one requires Xbox LIVE Gold Membership. Moreover, users will be able to play games either with the original graphics or with the new improved HD graphics. It also incorporates all new music, hints and tips so that even newcomers can feel comfortable while playing this game.
Xbox LIVE Arcade will also see six more games in the near future. These include titles like: Mad Tracks, Rush’n Attack, Soltrio Solitaire, Spyglass Board Games, Street Trace: NYC and Undertow.
