Harvest Moon Creator Yasuhiro Wada has revealed in an interview to the Cubed 3, the gaming website that Marvelous Interactive is aiming for Wii iteration of the latest series of Rune Factory.

In North America, first game from the Rune Factory is going to be released by the next month and is titled as “A Fantasy Harvest Moon” on DS. Recently, Marvellous Interactive has also announced a sequel which will be arriving by the end of year.
Wada also commented on being asked about its expansion into a franchise. He stated that, “Yes, of course. We've already removed the subtitle of "Harvest Moon" from the game title in Japan and Rune Factory is now [an] independent game, working as an original series. I can't explain the details, but a new angle will be.”
Harvest Moon’s Wii version has also been declared by Wada. In Europe, Magical Melody is going to be released by the coming September. He also stated that, “add many changes apart from Wii controller support.”
