According to this report by USA Today, video games are gaining popularity as family entertainment citing a national survey.
The by the Entertainment Software Association survey revealed 35% percent that is almost 1 in 3 parents say they game as well and 80% of those 35% play video games with their children.
It also reveals that the average 'gamer parent' spends (a credible-for-busy-moms-n-dads) 19 hours a month playing video games, and spends roughly half that time playing alongside kids.
The best thing perhaps the survey revealed that 2 in 3 of the gamer parents said they feel that playing video games has brought their families closer together! For that reason only, it must be made illegal to campaign against videogames and it should be made 100% tax-free.
Cheers!
