If you have a taste for games that contain some rocking goodness will a lot of drinking, then I think you should get your hands on Sony’s nest-gen music genre named SingStar shipping to PS3. As Ben Dutka over psxextreme, as well has mentioned that in his post that Europeans have greater affinity for the franchise rather than Americans, so Sony wants to keep the pot boiling and has announced a release date for Pal region.

According to the game publisher SCE, SingStar will be shipping to the PS3 console next month on July 25th, 2007, and will be available in two versions. The first version is a standalone copy of game costing €39.95 and the second one is copy of game bundled with microphones costing €61.95.
Hoverer, SingStar for the PS3 looks pretty much like PS2 version of SingStar but what you can’t do with PS2 version is, you can’t download songs, as you can do in PS3 edition.

PS3 SingStar will be containing somewhat 350 songs, when it sees the Euro launch. Not only that, Sony will go on adding 100 new songs, every month. The game contains a multiplay up to 8 players with a true interactive singing experience. So hold your breath to get your hands on upcoming competitive karaoke game.
