After a disappointing wait, Wii owners across Europe will finally get their copies of Super Paper Mario on September 14th. It has been about five months after its release in the US and Japan, Mario is getting a European launch.
Don’t take it for an ordinary Super Mario adventure, because this comes as a full-fledged RPG element with a well-built storyline and soothing soundtracks. Once you play the game, you will find the reason why Nintendo took so long to bring it to the European Wii.
As per Nintendo, it’s localization issues that battered European launch, but reason behind putting Australian launch on hold falls flat on our minds.
It took more than five months to get over localization issue; as of now, the game is ready to deliver some witty, long gaming spells.
According to Nintendo’s press release, Super Paper Mario mixes the role-playing game-style adventure of its predecessors with the platform action of classic Mario games from yesteryear, bringing players a deep, entertaining quest that is truly the best of both worlds.
Of course, the game will make good use of Wii-mote’s motion-sensing controls - majority of unique on-screen moves will be executed by shaking and moving the controller so that players can not only adapt traditional scoring system and earn bonus points while defeating enemies, but also make use of abilities like fire, ice attacks, etc.

Super Paper Mario will cost around ‘35 as it ships to the Wii across Europe, next month.
