I have come across this browser-based online strategy game - Fall of Nations through a link that says that it has been developed by a 20 year old. I checked it out and found that it is really an unbelievably complex game for a young solo developer to make. The game looks very professionally made and on top of it, it has many rounds.
The description of the game according to the website is as follows:
Welcome to Fall of Nations, a browser-based game of strategy, guile, and determination. As a newcomer to the game, to call your forces an army is a great injustice. You have no soldiers, few resources, and no authority in the universe of Fall of Nations. Your mission is to mend a reputation as a powerful figure in the game by amounting soldiers, collecting resources, and slaying all those who oppose you. Dare you be an arrogant and ambitious leader, let your mission be to become the most powerful figure in Fall of Nations.
The game has been rated 7.5 out of a possible 10 by MPOGD which I think is pretty impressive even though many didn’t vote for it.
I tried in vain to figure out who the developer is, so if you have any knowledge, please do share. Even the Wikipedia has declared the article on it as a stub.
I tried to do a whois on the website and found out that it is owned by Alex Salle from Toronto, Canada. But that doesn’t tell you much for the illustrations in the website is by a certain Sundar who looks definitely of Indian origin.
Whatever the case is, have a look at the game here and I am sure you would like it.
Thanks to the person who posted the link for me to follow.
